Complete monitoring for all IT business processes

Unipeg Soc. Coop. Agricola is leader in the distribution of fresh beef. Unipeg can rely on two plants, counting more than 1.800 breeder partners and over 600 employees. To guarantee a high IT service level in both plants and having a limited IT staff, it was necessary to adopt a monitoring solution able to fasten and ease the IT administration activities.

Easy and immediate usage of NetEye

The main features of the monitoring system that were required for Unipeg were the easy and immediate usage and the possibility to manage the application autonomously from the service provider. NetEye, with its intuitive graphic user interface and its Open Source nature could fully fulfill their requirements. In fact, after implementing this solution, Unipeg was shortly able to independently use the tool thanks to the documentation and all the available information sources.

With NetEye it was also possible to remotely check the branch office in Pegognaga, to monitor the environment through the probes and finally to implement the syslog module, integrated in the solution, to fulfill the measure of the privacy guarantor archiving all the administrators’ accesses.
